Xmas: "No."
Josh says he knows the house wants "those 2 up" (Cody/Jess) but if they can pull themselves off, he doesn't care who Elena is next to on the block.
Josh: "I want Elena out."
Christmas warned Josh to get the votes because Elena will "work the sh*t out of the house" in her campaign to stay and in addition, she has to go out via a backdoor plan.
Josh: "All we need is 5 votes, right?"
Christmas: "I gotta do the math. I think so."
Christmas said that Cody is a great competitor and that she'll support whatever he wants, and says to talk to Jessica and tell her to trust what he (Josh) is doing this week and to tell her "believe it or not, I have your back".
Josh worries that if he told Jess that, it would tip off Elena that she's the target. Christmas starts to tell Josh how if Cody left this week, Cody/Jess would split up for the summer because Cody would go home and Jess would go to the jury house without him. Jason walks in and the convo halts until 8:33am BBT.
Xmas: "That's 4 votes..me/Kevin/Jason/Alex."
Josh states that they need 1 more vote but that Mark and Cody/Jess won't vote Elena out (if they're off the block) but then Christmas reminds Josh...
Xmas: "Cody or Jess would vote (to evict Elena) if the other one was on the block."
Josh: "True."
Xmas: "So that'd be vote # 5 and that's all you f*cking need."
Josh said he'd tell Paul to just "trust him" and that he'll only tell Paul if either Cody or Jess pulls themselves off the block. (Paul told Josh to put both of them up together). He will then replace them with Elena and aim to get her evicted this week. The reason for him targeting Elena, is because she has "more contacts" in the house (while Jess/Cody are secluded and not social). So to Josh, Elena is more of a threat. Probably doesn't help that she cast a vote for his eviction the other week either.
At 10:49am BBT, the feeds switched off for the Temptation Comp to be played. It could be hours before the feeds come back on, so just check the blog later for the results.

But why Elena?? If you're going to backdoor someone, why not Paul? Josh isn't even planning on telling Paul, so why not go after him? Elena is not a target...I truly feel like she's a number you can always use...she goes to whichever side of the house seems favorable for her. This is the time to make a big game move...I swear, do none of these people know how to play big brother?? I have yet to truly see a big game move...with the exception of Cody who attempted to get Paul out, no one understands what it means to use your HOH to make a big move. Even Jessica blew her chance. Oh well...thanks Jamie for always keeping me up to date. I don't subscribe to the feeds, so your blog truly is gold to me!
Its because of a few things:
(1) Elena is floating, has more "contacts" in teh house than a isolated Jody. More of a threat.
2) its personal because she voted against him the other week.

I don't get this idea at all, thought he liked her.
Was it him she yelled at for running his mouth? If so, it's an emotional reaction and will likely pass.
Love it, Josh wants Elena out because she has too many people that she can work with and he doesn't want Paul to know because he won't see it the same way as Josh does. He's okay with putting both up and if neither gets off, one will still go home. But, if one gets off, he wants to back door Elena. Apparently, Kevin, Jason, Christmas, and Josh all want Elena out also. If one of Cody/Jess is still OTB, the one off would obviously vote for Elena also so that would make five? Either way, wouldn't they only need four at most for Elena and if tie, Josh would break tie?
Paul is acting like HOH and telling Josh to go fetch water for him and Elena in order to get Josh out of HOH room? Can't wait for day of reckoning for Paul. I don't know if Josh will continue to allow him to boss him around much longer now that he had time to think about what Paul just did.
Are we all missing the big picture? PAUL ISNT INVOLVED IN THIS SCHEME. That by itself has become amazing. Josh is many things, and I think moments like this really highlight how much he can be underestimated.
Actually it would make sense to get out someone other than Jody - it's a game move and you can always put up one of them later one. I would love it if Josh would go against the master Paul's instructions. (you just know that when Josh won hoh, Paul said - yea! it goes my way again this week!)

I wish he would backdoor Paul. Paul in the jury is a nauseating thought. If only we could have a mulligan and NOT bring a vet into this season.

Long time BB fan, first season live feed watcher. Is this unusual that it's down for 9+ hours?
I would buy nothing he sells! How well could it be doing. He still lives at home! I know...he could join the military!
