So, when Josh won HOH on Thursday, everybody including Julie Chen thought this was basically another Paul HOH reign. (Speaking of Julie Chen, she stated that she's currently Team Jessica, if anyone was curious.) Josh has been doing his HOH on his terms, however. It's pleasantly shocking to see one of Paul's "dogs" play their own game, despite what Paul wants him to do. So kudos to Josh for being the 1st one to go against the grain.
Josh's target this week is Elena and now that Cody won the Temptaion Comp and Jessica came in last, making her the automatic 3rd nom, Josh's plan on targeting Elena is right on track.
The HG's had their Nomination Ceremony already and here's the results...
Nominated for Eviction is:
MARK and ELENA
MARK and ELENA
(Jess is the 3rd nom via Temp Comp)
Let me go gather up a few key conversations from last night and I'll post them below! You can use the Flashback Feeds to watch everything.
8:27pm BBT:
HOH Room
Josh/Paul
Paul isn't happy to hear Josh talk about wanting Elena out.
Paul: "Jessica and Cody are a power-duo. If Jessica, remember..Cody won't know what to do..he's clueless, lost..if we send is girl out, he's f*cking done. Defeated."
Josh explains his point of view, how Elena is "extremely persuasive"..Paul barely is listening to Josh. He seems irritated and keeps trying to interupt Josh to make his point of why Jessica needs to go before Elena.
Josh: "I know you don't see it from where I'm coming from..I don't trust (Elena)."
Paul starts saying how she's been distancing herself from Mark (thanks to him guiding her away). Paul tells Josh that it's not a good thing to let Cody/Jess get to jury together for voting.
8:44pm BBT:
Josh cam-talks to us live feedsters...
Josh: "I want Elena out. I want Elena out. She's going home."
A few mins later, Josh tells Mark he's going up as a pawn and told him him/Elena are going up.
8:48pm BBT:
Paul told Elena that he volunteered to be a pawn this week (he didn't, not from what I saw..he said he's not going up as a pawn, so this is a lie as far as I can tell) By 9:06pm BBT, Elena talks to Josh as I already covered here.
Feeds down untl 10:40pm BBT for Nom Ceremony (Mark/Elena are on the block).
10:49pm BBT:
Bathroom
Josh/Cody/Jessica
Josh goes into the bathroom where Cody is showering and Jessica is on the bathroom couch. Cody asks him what he wants, as Jessica starts laying into him..saying he treated her like sh*t on "the day her father died" and how only a few people in the house knew that info, and he was one of them. He's trying to calmly talk to her, as she's telling him to "pick a mood" and stay consistent with it, because the back and forth stuff he's doing is getting old.
Josh: "I said things about you guys, you guys said things about me..I want to dead-it." (*Squash it.)
Josh then says Cody ruined her game...as Cody is right there. (He's fresh out of the shower and not mic'ed up, so I can't hear him but he doesn't seem happy. lol)
Josh tells them it's his opinion that Jess ruined her game with Cody and tells her to win veto and pull herself off the block.
Cody puts his mic on.
Cody: "Josh, we never came and asked for your opinion."
Josh tells them when they "calm down" (but they're calm) then they can have a talk. Cody says no, there's no need to. Kevin is there now.
Josh continues to talk, even though they don't want him to continue talking.
Cody: "See now, you're missing the point here...I don't want to hear anything else from you, ok?" (*lol)
Josh keeps encouraging Jessica to have a conversation with him later.
After he leaves, Jessica tells Cody that she thinks Mark could be this weeks target (*Close.)
11:45pm BBT:
Josh tells Alex/Jason to not mess with the noms if they win veto. Alex doesn't like the plan of getting Elena out, but will be on board.
Alex: "I'll vote any way you want..but let's just see how the week plays out."
By 1:50am BBT, Josh again cam-talks, saying he wants the noms the same so that Elena goes home.
**And that's it for The Overnighter! Today is the Veto Comp and this will set the week up for Josh's plan to get Elena out. Best case scenario for Josh's HOH, would be for Jess to win veto and take herself off the block. No renom needed, since she's the 3rd nom and there's no replacement for the Temp Comp nom. Even better for Jessica, is if Cody is picked to play and Christmas does not use her Ring of Replacement she still has. Today is going to be very interesting.
Also, there are NO have-not's this week. It appears that Josh was going to make Mark a HN for the 5th week in a row (I think?) and perhaps production stepped in and said nope. That's brutal..a month of slop. Pheww. EDIT: Elena is still on slop this week, due to her 2 week slop. All others are off. Mark is already stuffing his face full of banana's with peanut butter on them. Enjoy, Mark! lol
As of 11:50am BBT, the Veto Comp Players have not been picked yet. Follow me on over on for updates throughout the day (I love interacting with BB fans over there!) I will post later on, sometime AFTER the veto comp has been played to give you the results and report what Josh's game plan is at the moment. Can't wait until I post?? No problem! Get the live feeds and find out everything as it unfolds!!
Stay tuned...

OK now - this is much more interesting than I thought it would be when Josh won HOH. I guess he didn't forget that Elena and Mark voted against him - good for him not playing Paul's game!
I found this article very interesting so I thought I would share it with y'all. BIG BROTHER' WINNERS: WHERE ARE THEY NOW? http://www.wonderwall.com/entertainment/tv/big-brother-winners-where-are-they-now-32437.gallery
Among the most interesting is Boogie declared bankruptcy owing 23 million & the first winner of BB was an amputee.
Thanks for all you do Jamie!!!
I'm impressed with Josh as being the first to go against Paul. I never thought I'd be with Josh. Haha
Let me say, I cannot stand Josh. (I'll let it go at that). However, I'm happy to see that someone FINALLY is not doing Paul's bidding. Good for him. As long as he sticks to his guns and does not let Paul manipulate him.
Also, thanks for the blogs Jamie. You've been my source of infor for several big brother years. Keep up the GREAT work!!!
So production will step in to keep Mark from having slop five weeks in a row, but won't stop the horrific behavior we saw out of Josh, Raven, Paul, etc. last week? Shame on CBS! I would be so embarrassed to be associated with any of those people.
So CBS will step in to stop Mark from having slop 5 weeks in a row, but didn't step in to stop the bullying and horrific behavior we saw out of Josh, Raven, Paul, Christina, etc. last week? Responsibility fail CBS!
WOW. a lot to digest in this one Jamie. since I dont' watch feeds often.
I think if Cody were gone, I'd root for Jess. I want to still root for Paul, but don't like the bullying. So not sure where I land on him.
The smart game move is to get rid of Jess, since Cody is a terrible player, and even of he got to the end, no one would give him the money.
IMO, this move by Josh will break up the bigger group and leave an opening for Jody. However, I doubt Cody, if he stays can play the game. (ok, you don't like or trust anyone, so you want to quit??? how about just faking it? it's a game).
It is bad for Jess that Cody won. He simply needs to go for her to have a shot. She seems like a good player who has let emotion/feelings for someone get in the way.
If Matt would ever make a move or do something, I think I'd root for him.
If Josh has a chance to get Jessica out and doesn't, he is a fool, a blind fool. He is entertaining but his skills in logic are lacking. He should NEVER allow Cody and Jessica to be in the jury together. Paul is right, that would be a big mistake.
It would have been mark's 4th week on slop
Just throwing this out there. I think "Maven" is too nice a name for those too. I think they should have gone with "Ratt".
Julie is Team Jessica? That's shocking to me! I can understand her being anti-Paul (I think most of us are), but I still don't like Jody or all the drama that Jessica brings. So I guess that means I'm rooting for Kevin?
So glad Josh is playing this his way. About time folks quit doing what Paul wants. All he is worried about is himself. Not a Josh fan, but he has changed my opinion a little by going his own way. Like Cody or not, he is still a better person than Paul!
What difference would it make if Jody and Jess were both in jury? If Paul is in F2, neither will vote for him and whoever is up next to Paul would have both their votes, at least Cody's. Jess might look at it that Paul was a better player but Cody would never. So, the others should all want Cody in jury but they are obviously all not good game players or they wouldn't be doing what Paul dictates. It's super sad that Paul had such a huge advantage in the beginning and all the newbies looked up to him as a vet to the point that now, no one wants to make a move because they are afraid they will be the next target. There are HG's that realize that Paul has got to go but until the house is split into smaller alliances, they won't do anything but go with the house.
Would absolutely love to see Paul push Josh's buttons before POV ceremony and have someone taken off the block and Paul put up. Won't happen, I know. But, Josh has got to be p.o.'d at both Paul and Christmas now for not "respecting" his HOH. Paul is tired of hearing Josh repeat the same logic over and over and wants to dictate how his HOH should be placed, but when Christmas finally decides maybe she will use her temptation and Josh says not to, Paul says, "it's her power, she can use it how she wants"?? Are you kidding me? It's Josh' HOH, let him do it how he wants.
I wouldn't mind seeing Elena go bye bye, make a move Josh.
Don't kid yourself, this is Paul's HOH. Even if Josh doesn't make the exact moves Paul wants, in the end it is the votes that matter and Paul will rig it how he wants it to go, not Josh.
I think if josh played it right he could apologize to Jess and Cody and smooth that relationship out and end up with 2 allies instead of 2 foes of course he would still need to act as though they hated each other. If he were smart and I don't think he is he'd repair that asap and then continue with his target list. However, I think he made a huge mistake telling Paul his plans and now he's going to campaign very hard to make this hoh be his rather than josh'. It really did surprise me that josh cut his puppet strings this week
I forgot how much I appreciated your postings Brian Williams, I nearly always either completely agree, or learn something interesting from them. Thank you. Paul needs to back off Josh and let Josh think he's got the votes to evict Elena. Paul still has enough pull with enough HGs to get the votes to evict Jessica, it will just be a closer vote than Paul's comfortable with, probably. And I'm not sure about this, but I think there's still one more eviction before jury after this one, right? Should be a fun week, but Paul needs to channel Derrick just a bit more. At least PRETEND you're listening to Josh and nod a little as though you follow his logic.
