Playing in the Veto Comp:
Jason/Matt/Raven/Paul/Josh/Kevin
This weeks target is Matt, and Matt/Raven are on the block. Josh, however, is paranoid that he's going to get backdoored (he's not)...
Josh (to Paul): "If (Jason) puts me on the block Monday, I will f*cking ruin him until Thursday."
Paul assured him he's 100% safe this week and the votes wouldn't be there to get him out anyway.
Later on, Paul told Jason that maybe they should throw Josh the veto (as this will calm him down, plus he won't use the veto which is what they want). But Jason said that he's annoyed with Kevin and that if he (Jason) wins veto, he wants to pull Raven off the block and put up Kevin just to 'put him in check'. To scare him. But Paul is against the idea.
Jason (to Paul): "Kevin keeps acting like he's calling all the shots. He hasn't called a single shot." (*oh, the irony of this being told to Paul. lol)
Sadly, that's all I got for the Overnighter report. Nothing much is happening. The houseguests sat around waiting for the Veto Comp that never happened and went to bed late. This week, either Matt or Raven will be going to jury and the Veto Comp will determine which one is leaving.

Honestly, they'd be smarter to send Raven home this week. She's came close in a couple question HOH comps and Matt can be beaten quite easily in anything. Plus, she's annoying AF and they assume she has gotten a lot of money from go fund me accounts so that would mean she wouldn't need the money at the end. (Although we know the truth about what America really thinks of her)
there were actually talks (more annoyance-talks) about maybe Raven could go first this week instead. They're sick of her screeching in the house and one-up stories. lol

I'm really shocked people are voting Cody as AFP as an FU to Paul. If he is genuinely your favorite player,fine. Otherwise, it's a "bitter jury" type thing and a new phenomenon for BB AFP.

Seams Kevin is dead set on playing his popularity contest, I haven't heard them say what it is he has been doing, I'm kinda shocked they have not actually pinpointed his game.
I don't get the Cody popularity, then again I didn't get why so many loved Paul last year, which I did in fact fully dislike him last year, have to say it was probably his repeating the same things over and over. The fact another vet came in always bothers me, however on the whole he has played a great game, like him or not his game cannot be denied, it's been a great social game and he wins comps when he needs too.
Yes, they should have got him out, I can't decide if I'm actually glad they haven't, gonna say yes, because he has been detrimental in keeping the minds of others going, the convos even repeated has kept it going, not so boring to watch.
Also think he has been very good at weeding out the people, with the exception of Raven, Matt is playing Ravens game, or should I say Nicole's & James game, Matt in my book is playing stupidly he is in construction there is no way he is that weak, this man can probably hang upside down and hold his body weight with one arm hammering nails his game baffles me really.
Back to the Cody thing, what did he do that was so great? I'm asking? He also had 2 chances to change his bad game, he had 0 social skills, is a fast mover but did not have the mental skills needed, I'm pretty sure based on his own actions he is fricking sociopathic.
So, why? Was it his meanness? Or his love for the manikin with the really bad hair extension hiding abilities. Pfft!
I agree Dianne. How could America vote for Cody??? He was a baby and jerk. IMO, Alex, Kevin, Jason or Josh should get AFP. Sorry guys, I'm still Team Paul or Alex for the win. They have played well.
@Dianne...I would love to see Paul's face if Cody got AFP, BUT, I would not vote Cody if I didn't really want him to win. The problem is that there are no favorites in the house for me. It's pretty hard to want to vote AFP for any of the HG's who are so silly as to follow along and not make any big moves, or anything else for that matter. Even though Cody and Jess did not always make the right decisions, at least they knew who was running the house (and actually wanted to do something about it instead of being okay with 2nd place, etc.). Other than Alex and Jason, no one else even cares enough to try to win a comp.
If I were going to vote for Cody or Jess, it would be nice for their votes to go to mostly one of them so the votes aren't split. That being said, I personally prefer Jason or Kevin but just like all the other HG's, except for Jody, they run and tell Paul everything and bow to him as if they can't make a decision on their own. It's just really hard to choose this season.
I would LOVE to see the look on both Math AND Ravens face if Raven was voted out this week! Priceless. She's so ridiculous. Remember when she was convinced that she was going to get the last temptation? I remember her say something like "I know I'm going to get the last temptation. It's most likely the best one and America would like me to have it." Gah!!! That girl! Also I'm voting Kevin for Americas Favorite Player. He hasn't made any moves in this game but he has had to live with these crazy people all summer. I think that alone is worth my vote.

it appears these hg’s haven’t impacted viewership, last week bb19 took 3 of the top 5 spots in adults 18-49, and 3 of the top 6 in total viewers, winning its time slot each airing on all but 2 wednesday nights all season (the last friday night special finished 8 & 15 respectively).
Curious if the data reflects total viewers than rankings? Also the total viewers from season to season...
I will vote for Cody bc of all the crap he took like a Marine, when they poured all that food on him and all the bullying he took. Not his game play or showmance and I really dislike Paul and the rest
New viewers who don't really understand the game and people who don't watch the feeds. Sad CBS has ruined the game.
the data reflects nightly and weekly network numbers - nightly time slot rankings, nightly primetime rankings overall, and weekly broadcast rankings, composed of both total viewers and viewers 18-49. these rankings are, of course, based on viewers. ;-)
for a season to season comparison, you can check the individual Wikipedia pages for each season. i generally avoid comparing seasons side by side, as network programming changes from year to year, along with the hg's.
Alabama..interesting stats on ratings. Money wise, it's a whole different story. They're feeling it this year and trying to scramble to make it seem (on air only) that it's not as bad as it is. The TV audience only people might not have a clue to how bad the season actually is, while us feedsters know it's a dead season. After blogging about BB for a decade now, I can say with confidence, despite ratings, that this is the by far the worst season of BB. It even surpasses BB16, which I thought wasn't even possible. lol
i agree wholeheartedly about how bad this season has been, jamie (hey, bella!), that's why i posted - i'm still shocked.
i'm guessing online revenue is way down from previous seasons, but now that it's switched to become part of cbs all access, who knows, it may still be helping overall cbs online subscription numbers? i would still imagine network ads are what's driving the biggest revenue source for the show.
either way, while the overall network rankings have been steadily falling since season 1 with a few exceptions, at this rate, bb19 total network viewers may beat the last season, possibly the past 2 seasons. (data provided by zap2it.com)

This summer however, people are pissed and canceling out of spite.. That's why they're definitely feeling it this year.

Bb9 paid for my big wedding. This season, I'm living off of crackers and cheese. Lol if nobody donated, I would've quit week 4 or 5.
sorry to hear that it's been so bad, jamie - if enough subscribers dump this season, maybe cbs will adjust to add more support for bloggers next season(s) - for so many of us, the show would be dead without bloggers.

Cody was harsh but he's a Marine.That how he should act.Its great He says what's on his mind and isn't some douche that still lives with their parents and has a whole bunch of money already.
I agree I would never have gotten so personal and I would have thanked Cody for his service because unlike Paul he at least did something for a country so why would you bully him some people saw something different but all I saw was bullying.

I am so sick of these people. Jason is HOH, won Veto, doesn't want to put Kevin up. Christmas and Paul know now he doesn't want to so telling him that Maven "trust" Jason so he shouldn't send them home this week now after all. If he puts Kevin up and he goes home, what does Jason think that Maven will do next HOH? I can't believe the stupidity of these people. And, I don't doubt at all that Jason will put Kevin up now because Alex is ticked at him.
I hope that Kevin stirs up trouble and gets people thinking. If Kevin goes home, I really hope that Jason and Alex BOTH go home for their stupidity. In that case, I am rooting for Paul, Christmas, and Josh F3. YUK!

Cody knew from the beginning of the game if Paul stayed in the house he'd end up running it. Shows me he knew the game better than Paul's brainless mob. I'm voting Cody AFP because he knew Paul was a threat from week one.
